This masterful and compelling two-hander caught the eye of senior Nick O'Leary in the final term of his senior year. An emerging director and designer, O'Leary engaged me to help advise on many ideas for the production's mounting. However, with his senior Honors Thesis under his belt, I served as a distant but helpful collaborator to a student well on his way to defining his own aesthetic vision as a theater director - the ultimate goal of mentorship.
Advisement for the production included attending rehearsals to help shape staging choices for this intimate drama and aid in defining overall style as well as offering insights during the minutiae of technical rehearsals.
